Entry Requirement

• Academics Requirements : 
• i. A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or
• ii. A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment. 
• iii. Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or working experience in the relevant fields must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the HEP and meet the minimum CGPA based on (i) to (ii).
• Language Requirements (International Students) :
• i. All international students who wish to follow a course of study at UniKL must meet the requirements of competence in English language as specified in the programme standard, or by the approved entry requirement, EXCEPT:
  a. International students who come from a country that uses English as a spoken language; or
  b. International students who use qualifications from institutions that use English as the
  language of instruction in full; or
  c. International students who have been studying in Malaysia and intend to pursue
  higher education are subject to item (b).
• ii. UniKL shall recruit international students with Conditional Offer if the programme entry
  requirements or the programme standards are met except English language.
• iii. In the absent of English Language competency in the respective programme standards,
  UniKL Senate/Boards of Academic agreed the requirement shall be as below: i. For Bachelor and post grad programmes the English language requirements is IELTS 5.0 or equivalent; ii. For Diploma programmes the English language requirements is ELTS 4.0 or
  equivalent.
