Part A: Financial
- For the time being, ODL program is not entitled for PTPTN loan and MARA Education loan/scholarship.

Part B: About ODL Program
There is no age limit for this program as long as you fulfill the entry requirements stated for this program.
The term ODL is the mode of delivery of the program itself. ODL program can be offered both mode of study i.e. full-time and part-time, and you can choose any of these two options.
No, the ODL status will only appears on your academic transcript.
- Full-time: min. 1 year, max 1.5 years
- Part-time: min. 2 year, max. 3 years

Part C: Teaching & Learning in ODL
Travelling to UniKL campus is not necessarily an option. Our distance learning programme can be completed from wherever you are in the world without having to be physically in our campus.
- No physical classes are required.
- For ODL students, you only need to join the online classes virtually (synchronous).
- Attendance will be taken for synchronous class.
- However, if you are unable to attend the virtual class, you still have the opportunity to re-watch the recorded video version.
- The class will be conducted fully online.
- Online face-to-face class will be conducted via TEAMS, 4 times per semester. You can refer to your program semester timetable for the scheduled session.
- For the rest of the semester, you are required to do self-learning via online learning platform, UniKL Flex (https://flex.unikl.edu.my). The modules include lessons and assessments which you need to complete throughout the semester.
At the beginning of semester, you will be provided with your lecturer’s/instructor’s contact details. You can communicate through e-mail, UniKL Flex’s platform and any other communication medium such as class Whatsapp group, Telegram etc.
- There are 3 important platforms you should refer to throughout your study:
- Student Portal (for student record)– course registration, program structure, registered course, examination result, student record
- UniKL Flex (LMS)- learning materials, online modules, link to online face-to-face session, assessment.
- UniKL ODL website (information & announcement) -one-stop centre for information and guidelines for ODL students, link to all related platform such as Student Portal and UniKL Flex, and student supports.
The online face-to-face class will be conducted on Saturday, 2 hours, 4 times per each course, per semester.

Part D: UniKL ODL Support
You will receive the following types of support: administrative, online library, student learning portal, finance, IT support, counseling, and general ODL helpdesk.
Yes, you can visit any nearest UniKL campus to use the library facilities. You can use your digital student ID as reference.
